Edward Norton has splashed out $11.8million (around £8.9m) on an incredible home on the Malibu coast – and it looks like something straight out of Grand Designs. The Fight Club star has purchased architect John Lautner's 'Stevens' House', which has a distinctive structure designed to resemble waves.

The 3,366 square foot home is located on 37 feet of sandy beach and has a large outdoor deck, private swimming pool and grassy garden area. Edward's new home was built in 1968 and has become a California State Cultural Landmark, which is instantly recognisable on the Malibu coastline.
With five bedrooms and five bathrooms the property is a spacious retreat for Edward, who was most recently seen on screen in the 2016 film Collateral Beauty. It is set behind guarded gates in the Malibu Colony, where the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks and Jackie Collins also have homes. Edward has an impressive portfolio; he has a smaller home at nearby Big Rock Beach, another house in the heart of Los Angeles and a luxury Manhattan penthouse.
